Two Injured Following a Truck Accident in West Ashley
A truck crash that injured at least two people happened at the intersection of Glenn McConnell Boulevard and Mary Ader Avenue, early in the morning on Monday, December 5th.
According to initial reports, the accident, which involved a flatbed truck, took place Monday at around 8:43 a.m. Police immediately responded to the intersection after receiving a report of an overturned flatbed.
How the accident actually occurred is yet to be discovered, but it was determined that at least two parties sustained injuries. One victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital for treatment while another was rushed to Medical University of South Carolina. The extent of their injuries is has not been released.
Local investigators were called onto the scene to determine the cause of the crash.
